EXTRA 300F - At the Forefront of Evolution
The launch of the new EXTRA 300F series represents a complete refreshment of the proven series of front mounted plain mowers from Vicon. New generation updates include direct tractor coupling without the need for an A-frame and a stronger driveline concept.
Adding a new 3.6m version to the range the EXTRA 300F series is now available in 3 working widths, 2.8m, 3.2m and 3.6m. In addition to offering more capacity the EXTRA 336F also provides additional overlap when operating the mower in combination with a butterfly mower.
Excellent ground following ability, easy and intuitive operation and a compact design makes the new EXTRA 300F series the ideal solution for even demanding mowing jobs. It is the ideal mower to go into several combinations with rear mounted mowers and loader wagons.
Highly Responsive Suspension Concept
The new Vicon EXTRA 300F series is designed to tackle demanding and challenging field conditions. The mowing unit moves independently from the tractor front linkage and has a remarkable adaptation range of 430mm upwards and 210mm downwards. Additionally, it offers a transverse pivoting range of 17° to cope with a wide spectrum of challenging field conditions.
The integrated NonStop BreakAway system protects mower and cutterbar when encountering obstacles in the field. It allows the mower to move backwards and up, letting the obstacle pass without risk of damage.
Simple Handling and Operation
All performance optimizing adjustments are simple and intuitively done on the new EXTRA 300F range. It offers a compact design that now easily connects to the tractor linkage without the need for an additional A-frame.
The new range comes with a two-speed driveline with simple adjustment of PTO speed from the standard setting of 1000rpm. By switching driveline pulleys, PTO speed can be changed to 750rpm for reduced fuel consumption or when using the mower for summer feeding in combination with a loader wagon.
Hydraulic folding of side guards for convenient conversion from work to transport is available as option.
