The Vicon Bromex range is aimed at farmers and contractors who want a machine that simply gets the job done, season after season. A streamlined headstock, central body gearbox with flexible cardan shaft, top transmission and direct side-belt tensioning all contribute to smooth running and stable performance in intensive conditions. Whether working in grass, crop residues or biomass, the Vicon Bromex 400 Series is built to deliver a clean, even chop in a wide range of conditions. Its robust rotor with durable flails is made to perform smoothly under demanding loads, while the balanced construction and maintenance-free ground-contour roller bearings support a long service life with limited maintenance needs.
The Vicon Bromex 400 Series is available in three working widths, giving farmers and contractors the flexibility to match machine size to their field conditions, tractor power and workload:
- Vicon Bromex 423 – 2.35 m working width, perfect for compact and versatile tasks.
- Vicon Bromex 428 – 2.80 m working width, balancing high output and maneuverability within the 3.00 m transport width.
- Vicon Bromex 432 – 3.25 m working width, designed for high productivity and efficient coverage of large areas.
All models are suitable for tractors from 80 to 170 hp and come with a 500 mm hydraulic side shift as standard, allowing precise work along field edges, headlands and around obstacles.
